great school and great teachers. I agree that the Spanish program is a joke and that the yearly musical is given too much priority. The sports program is amazing and so is the art program. So it's a wash.

The idea of 18 per class is why I have stayed for 4 years. For a school with 18/class the kids should do better academically. There is a total of 320 kids. This year my child barely gets HW. He is a average academically. He would do better if challenged more. There is no tutoring available and their is only 2 teachers for special need students. The resources are not there to help children succeed academically. They focuses too much on their musical. They kids only have a recorder for music program. The spanish program is a joke. Spanish meets once a week, and kids watch movies. They learn same stuff from 1st grade and there is no test, or HW. There is no gym, so rainy days Removed! There is barely a playground. They had to remove a lot of pieces of playground, because not safe. A handful of broken arms. The teachers are super friendly, but do not know how to communicate with parents. My child was falling behind and I never got an email..shamefull! If child gets into a fight, be prepared NOT to get a phone call, unless they see it for themselves. I am lookjng into other schools, and if they do not shape up on their HW and communication, I will say good bye to TCCS, I can not risk it anymore
