Nederland Boasts An Outstanding Music/theater Program With The Most Grammy Nominations In The Entire United States. The Athletics Are Exceptional With Several Recent State Titles In Cross Country, As Well As Athletes Representing The Mountain School And Excelling In Areas Of Football, Soccer (both Men And Women's), Track, Basketball, And Skiing- Nederland Has The Only Nordic And Alpine Ski Teams In Bvsd. The Science Department Produces Students Who Continue On To Regional, State, And National Science Fairs. Nederland Offers Ap And Honors Courses That Prepare Students For Prestigious Schools Such As Mit, Stanford, And Cornell (to Name A Few That Students Of Nederland Were Recently Accepted To). The School Is Getting An Addition And Renovation As Part Of The Bvsd Bond Program And The Students Practice On A Turf Field And Track Also Funded By The Bond. Nederland Provides An Environment That Is Intimate And Does An Excellent Job Of Preparing The Students For Life After Secondary School.
