School Reviews

5   1/31/2011
Humboldt has quality rigorous academic programs which push children to excel. The wide variety of sports and elective offerings provide rare personalized opportunities within a small friendly school. Humboldt re-invented itself by complimenting the curriculum with an environmental themed focus while increasing the focus on preparing for college. Humboldt is trying to go school-wide AVID to compliment its multiple college access programs. Humboldt really has a great climate, friendly students and lots of programs including drama, environmental and robotics clubs, a great music and choir program, strong arts, languages, JROTC and tons of athletic programs. I really can't say enough about how please I am with Humboldt; I've seen Humboldt improve and evolve. As an involved community member within the school, I see great things happening. The future sixth graders will be lucky to go to high school in a school which has lot of opportunities in a small 'personalized-family' setting.
