School Reviews

2   2/2/2007
Not the greatest of schools. The school staff are way too laid back especially on bullying and treat the schools recess as their own; they can usually be found talking to each other, while the children run amock. Academics is decent and is at par for an average school. USD 457 as a whole does not have advance classes for the advanced student and treat such subjects as taboo. One main reason for the schools laid back policy is their principal and her inadequacate responses to this parent's concerns. The principal does not take a stand on issues that require her to take action against any of the school staff. The school is not recomended and USD 457 as a whole should be avoided because your child will be ill prepared for college, unless, it is suffice for your child to work at the meat packing plants when he or she graduates high school.
