Our 1st grader transferred here from Great Hearts School. His outlook on school changed overnight! Where before he was unhappy, tired, and moody after school and had anxiety over doing homework. Now he is happy and wants to talk about his day when he gets home. The homework he has now is every bit as rigorous, but he''s more willing to do it, and he isn't agonizing over every little letter. He adores his teachers and feels seen and heard as faculty members (even those who don't have him in class) call him by name. Discipline issues are dealt with fairly. We couldn't be happier with the way the school is run and the way they are encouraging positive behavior. Wish we had just started out at this school in the first place.

An excellent balance of great academics and rigorous school work, while still allowing kids to be kids and not have hours upon hours of homework every night. Big projects are mostly completed in the classroom, and it seems like the teachers do a great job at pacing the students' work load so they don''t get overwhelmed.
