School Reviews

As a student at Boise High, I love the environment. While the school population is quite large, everyone is incredibly kind and the large size of the school lends several benefits. Extracurricular activities abound, students can be found their own clubs, there are many music and theater programs, a wide variety of sports are available, many fun classes are offered, and anyone of any ability in school can succeed. High-performing, straight - students excel here, as do those who struggle. The Zen Den, Brick House, Brave Cave Tutoring, and Writing Center have all been established to help other students out. It is a school that is proud of the diversity of subjects taught (we even have a Latin class!) and I am always blown away by how much kindness all of my teachers and peers show.

Boise High is not recommended if your student has academic or behavioral issues. They will be recommended to attend Frank Church. The other high schools are much better providing support. If you have a high performing student, this would be the right school for you. It is similar to a private school, which is good for some, but not for tax payers who have students who struggle.
