School Reviews

2   5/12/2016
This is a horrible school. School to parent communication = little to non-existent. There are far too many homework assignments in one night for a first grader to handle. All of which my child has NO IDEA how to complete anyway. I might as well say I am homeschooling my child because I have to literally teach him HOW to figure out the math problems, etc. State or standardized tests taken with no preparation what so ever. I am so frustrated with the level of incompetence within this school. Bullying going on and undisciplined. Kids in my son's class who speak no English so of course the majority of the teacher's attention is to help those children even understand what is going on and the other kids are left to figure it out. How would I rate and/or describe West Elementary School in Mountain Home: Ridiculous, unprofessional, and an institution in which I would never recommend in receiving an education.
