This school is excellent! The teachers our kids have had are fantastic. They are learning the skills they need to build a solid foundation for education. I am not sure how anyone who actually has a child in attendance here would not love this school. The PTA, principal, teachers, BAC staff, and all other employees make this a school that my kids love!

Amazing school. Amazing administration. Zionsville as a whole is a very welcoming and accepting community. The PTO does an extraordinary job at raising funds for the teachers and involving the families of ZCS. I couldn't be happier with everything in our town. Zionsville is the lowest funded school district in the state. Our point of view is the opposite of the previous review. Can honestly say we don't have a negative Thing to say about the area, schools or the community.

My child is in the last year of Union, 4th grade. Having started there in 1st grade, this school has far exceeded our expectations. They have music, art, STEM, and many other versatile programs to engage every corner of a child's intellect. The teachers are very involved in the learning curve for each child and they work individually with each as they understand that everyone learns at a different pace. We absolutely love Union Elementary.

The building is brand new and that is the best thing I can say about this school. While an academically sound school, the parent involvement is dangerously invasive. Zionsville is an extremely secular community which is reflected in this school. The PTO is controlled by a group of singular visionites that push their agenda. Children spend most of their time on meaningless worksheets. Practical applications are rare. Of all Zionsville schools this one is partically troublesome. It is a merger of the original rural Union school with a more suburban area. The clash between these two fundamentally different groups has never been resolved. I would highly suggest considering Carmel/Clay Schools over Zionsville. Despite already higher than surrounding areas taxes, Zionsville tried to push through a referendum to increase tax money for the schools. This measure was defeated by 66%. So this community does not value its schools. Arts, Music, and extracurricular activites are all on the chopping block. But, rest assured Sports are in no danger, they only just completed a state of the art football stadium and the baseball fields should be complete by spring. Whew, that's a relief!
