School Reviews

Ok so I don't go to this school anymore but uh the kids there are horrible. All the years I've been there I was bullied endlessly every day and no matter what I did the teachers didn't care at all. And it stills goes on there. Also, the teachers are really bad at teaching. So uh bad school.

Rondout Valley is a good sized school with motivated teachers and it offers many classes for students wanting to get ahead. The BOCES program is also available for students who are trying to learn employment skills while still in high school. The facilities are nice and the new science wing in the high school is excellent. Sports teams are held at a high esteem and the music program encourages the growth of independent musicians. All in all a great school.
5 2/1/2009
The school offers a rigorous curriculum including College level courses in Environmental Science, Science Research, Math, Advanced PLacement courses in Biology, Physics, Chemistry, Calculus, Spanish, US History, and European History. A new science addition is being planned for 2006 but the current facilities are far from exemplary. Strong music and art programs are offered and athletics is another strong suit. The student body is as a whole relaxed and safe but not highly motivated academically. The level of parent involvement in elementary schools is good.
