School Reviews

Well, not really an administrator at Mann. Did some for several years at a few univeristies. ok.... I WENT there in the 40s. Kindergarten to 6th, when I transferred. Don't know if it was better or worse than others around, but it worked for me. Some rough bumps but it was vintage wartime 40s in middle America. South side, Brownie fans. First encounter was from right across the street: we lived at 4048. Streets were red brick cobblestones. Girls side, and boys side in the yards and in the basement. Still have a friend from Horace Mann, and I'm 80 next month. Ricard Hawkins, Tucson AZ
