School Reviews

This school was amazing. Unlike other schools I attended, they are way more about the education of students. They wanted to see the students succeed in life. The classes were difficult, but so worth it. The school doesn't big sporting events because of the small size, but there are still many benefits of a small school. We were able to play capture the flag, flag football, basketball, and many many other fun activities. Also, with the small school size you know everybody in the hallway. I knew every single person in my graduating class. We are all one big family at AOC.

This school's criteria was a mandatory interview for both parents and student prior to acceptance. The rules of the game were changed in the middle of the process to accommodate their staff when they could not handle the amount of applications that came in and interviews that needed to be conducted. They held a lottery instead that had nothing to do with a student's merit or willingness to attend and in the process broke my daughter's heart. Principal would not even return a phone call for any explanation. I wonder if perhaps this is the way this school is operated also (?). Maybe the true entrance criteria is located on Earlycolleges.org.
