We applaud Pioneer High School! Impressed w/ Principal Zona's leadership & professionalism, and that of a majority of teaching staff. More focused learning environment w/less drama. Straight forward curriculum & neighborhood campus setting w/ plans & $$$ to upgrade facilities & class offerings. Very easy to be an involved parent. Now have two graduates in family, the second son graduated one year early! Given today's extreme budget challenges, PHS graduation & achievement rates speak for themselves!

Absolutely horrendous staff. Give up easily on their students and have a lack of compassion. This school RUINED my child and her sense of self-worth. I thought that I would be doing her a favor by putting her in a smaller school with a more one-on-one learning environment. Boy, was I wrong. So, very wrong.
